No peace

Thailand seems to have just two TV channels- one showing very, very, very dramatic drama and the other showing very, very, very bad pop music. TV settings include very, very, very high volume or off.  As I lie in my room listening to the couple next door crunching on cashews (thank god) and a group of hysterical Thai girls trying to talk over a very, very, very dramatic drama coming from a TV that may as well be in my room, I can just make out a previous tenants graffiti ‘rice paper wall’. Many of the walls in Thailand are just for show.
